Welcome to Welsh Winter Climbs, this site is another of the North Wales online guide projects like its sister sites: Gogarth, North Wales Limestone, Slate and Tremadog. EVERYBODY IS WELCOME, AND INDEED EXPECTED, TO CONTRIBUTE THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO THE WIKI, THANKS!
Many of the climbs mentioned in the guidebook and this wiki require the turf/vegetation to be well frozen. Please don't climb these routes if there is any question of the turf not being well frozen - you'll quickly destroy the turf and possibly rare plants, alter the route's character and piss off everyone else who sees you doing it!
